Meeting the Minister of Health has become a notable and now traditional part of our visit to Chechen Republic. During the meeting, which was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, we discussed the hearing impaired child rehabilitation ecosystem based on the Saint Petersburg experience, accepted the strategy for joint work in this direction in the Republic, and exchanged reviewed cooperation under a tripartite agreement.
The meeting marked a very important step toward improving of the hearing impaired children’s life quality in the Chechen Republic. Sharing the experience of experts from Saint Petersburg, where corresponding programs have been successfully implemented, will allow to put effective diagnostics and rehabilitation methods into practice. We hope that our joint efforts will help to create a comprehensive system of support for children facing hearing impairments and their families.
The second day of our active work in the Chechen Republic has become a landmark event for all the participants. The masterclass proved to be highly engaging and informative.
The practical session carried out in a specialized audiology was the highlight of the day. In a cooperation with the experts of the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Ear, Nose, Throat and Speech we organized demonstration sessions attended by audiologists and specialists from different regions. This provided an opportunity to showcase the effective methods and initiate the discussion and analysis of the working experience. The participants were highly engaged into the process, addressed questions and shared their views.
We are confident that such events enhance the knowledge and skills of specialists and make a significant contribution to improving the quality of life for children with hearing impairments in the Chechen Republic.
We are thankful to the hosts for the professionally organized event and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
