Usharik and the project "Surdogeography" visited the Leningrad region

During the autumn holidays in the village of Shapki (Tosnensky district of the Leningrad region), a training camp for orienteering students with hearing impairment was held.
Deaf and hard of hearing students from St. Petersburg, Leningrad region and Yekaterinburg participated in the gathering. Head of TCB - Kotrovskaya Polina Sergeevna, the organizing committee of TCB two honored coach of Russia: Sergei Drobyshev (St. Petersburg) and Nikolai Kravtsov (Yekaterinburg). TCB became one more link in the chain of events of the educational travel project "Surdogeography".

Traditionally I helped in the organization of distances and our good friend - Usharik! "Parent association" I hear the world! "Always supports sports activities of schoolchildren.

Participants of the training camp
The program of the gathering was very intense - two daily training sessions on the ground, theoretical training, exercises on PFD, creative competitions and games ... This is the right vacation!
Interaction of athletes from different regions, joint training and exchange of experience - all this works for the development of an active lifestyle! Athletes for a long time did not use polygons in the vicinity of the village of Shapki, although the cartographic material was created by Sergei Drobyshev in 1981! And now, 36 years later, the materials were updated, corrected and prepared for work. The area is interesting, diverse and some of the distances are suitable for training on precise orientation (trailO).

Participants of the training camp
Next year, the team of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region is scheduled to visit Yekaterinburg to participate in orienteering and joint hiking competitions.
